I guess I'll Be first

Ok, First let me say I am using this as a personal alternative to a full fledged Fire Service TIC for fire training purposes. That said, this thing is pretty nice. The screen is bright, case seems to hold up in less than friendly conditions although I have not exposed it to long term high heat or direct water. The pictures it creates are pretty decent for being a lower resolution. The flashlight is just interesting and does not compare to a Streamlight. The few things I wish were improved-1000 Character limit

and 2nd

cont'd 1 - Literature. Menus aren't bad but a deeper explanation would be nice and something on what this has been tested capable of withstanding. Expensive toy to learn its limits the hard way. 2 - The hand lanyard they give you with it is a joke. That little nylon string to fit in that tiny hole in chassis wouldn't stand up to any kind of heat or reasonable use. I made a small loop out of thin safety wire and hook that to a clip. 3 - A storage case would have been nice at this price point. I'm using a camera case to store it now. 4 - Slightly larger buttons, especially the capture button for use with bulky gloves. 5 - LASTLY and probably most importantly, the temperature readout just doesn't seem to jive with regular fire service TICs. it seems to read about 20% low consistently. I have stopped using this part all together due to the unreliability of it.
<br>WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN? for my purposes, YES
